Nesta quinta-feira (3), o ex-piloto Michael Schumacher recebeu várias homenagens nas redes sociais. As congratulações são por causa de seu 50º aniversário.

Os brasileiros Felipe Massa e Rubens Barrichello lembraram os tempos em que competiram com o alemão. O inglês Lewis Hamilton ressaltou que se sente honrado por ter tido o privilégio de ter Schumacher na mesma pista.

Outros nomes conhecidos do automobilismo, como Nico Rosberg e Mika Häkkinen, também deixaram recados. O espanhol Fernando Alonso não usou seu perfil para falar sobre o colega, mas destacou o talento de Michael em publicação oficial da Fórmula 1. Além disso, escuderias como Ferrari e Mercedes compartilharam publicações, reconhecendo o valor de Schumacher.

Gina Schumacher, de 21 anos, é filha dele e fez questão de usar o Instagram para homenagear o homem que ela chama de “melhor pai do mundo”.

Em dezembro de 2013, o alemão sofreu um trágico acidente ao praticar esqui nos Alpes franceses. Desde então, ele está isolado em casa aos cuidados dos familiares e da equipe médica. Seu estado de saúde permanece um mistério, visto que pouco é dito sobre as condições de um dos mitos do esporte.

Em um raro comunicado, a família afirmou que está seguindo o desejo de Michael ao manter sua condição em segredo.

– Vocês podem estar certos de que ele está em boas mãos e estamos fazendo tudo o que é humanamente possível para ajudá-lo – afirmou o texto.
